SPACE COAST COMPLEX, MELBOURNE, FL – Parkland Pokers, JCB 8U Elite – Cichra, SBA Hawks 8U and Kaos edge out the rest of the pool to hold the top 4 spots.
Parkland Pokers had Cody Lyons to thank for being the offensive spark plug. Lyons went 3-for-4 with 1 2B scoring 2 R and driving in another 2 while swiping 8 bases.
JCB 8U Elite – Cichra handed Kade Kelly the ball and told him to have fun and boy did he. Kelly threw 3 innings of scoreless baseball allowing just 1 hit striking out 4. As a staff, JCB 8U Elite allowed just 1 earned run on 3 hits in 7 innings of baseball.
SBA Hawks 8U asked for someone to step up and Easton Olson is who they got. Olson threw 4 innings of no-hit baseball striking out 9 hitters in the 15 he faced. If the Hawks are going to make a push for the Championship they’ll need guys like Easton to continue to play good baseball.
The Kaos go into bracket play looking to hold their own against some tough competition. Biagio Giglio Cobuzio is up to the challenge as he has already been tearing the cover off the baseball. Hitting .667 with 4 H and 3 RBI, Giglio Cobuzio looks to bring his hot bat all the way to the finals for the Kaos.
