USSSA thanks you for playing in the Clearwater Labor Day Classic. Congrats to all our MVP Winners , tournament champions and finalists. A special thanks to all the coaches, parents, players and everyone else who helped make this weekend happen. With so many teams traveling in we wanted to do whatever we could to make sure those teams didn't pay money for hotels they couldn't use. We realize it isn't always ideal to cut short an event in anyway , and truly appreciate all the kind words, emails and pictures you shared with our staff this weekend. The 10 turf facility is a one of a kind and the fall Months are a steal on hotel room rates. we just received permission from the city of Oldsmar to utilize field 3 for warmups. However it can only be in the clay. If you need a spot to warm up please make sure that it is only in the clay. Thanks.

Good morning Daryl Smith, and the Southeast Region team are  excited to tell you about our new USSSA  MVP coin that we will be awarding at all our events from Clearwater to Chattanooga Tennessee. These coins are minted just for USSSA, and are a keepsake for any baseball player. The coin will be awarded to one player for each team in each event we host, regardless of placing in the event. Coins will be given to the Coach, or Manager, for that player for the weekend on Sunday, and they will present to that  player. Congrats  in advance to all those players who are selected for this weekend, and we look forward to many more MVP's  throughout the season! safety harbor update. Field 5 was mixed up with field 4. Field 5 is up and running Field 4 is still getting attention. All other fields at safety harbor are up and running

if you have later games at safety harbor here is where we are. Fields 1&4 are starting now. Field 2 is starting as soon as player meeting happens. Field 5 is still getting attention and will be delayed another 15-20min. We will keep you updated.

we have a delay on the fields at safety harbor. Field 1 is 15min delayed. Field 2 is 20min delayed Field 4 is 15 min delayed Field 5 is 30min delayed. We are working with city now to get them up asap

just a quick update now that everyone has the updated schedule. In some divisions there is an uneven amount of teams. In these cases there will be one team who plays 2 pool play games. They both count on your USSSA record however for the poo play seeding for this event only your first game will factor into seeding. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

good evening: we received word from two of our parks that they have closed those fields tomorrow due to the storms that rolled through earlier this evening. we didn't want to choose or pick which divisions/ age groups would have to be cancelled, specially with teams traveling in. So, We have decided to modify pool play to one full length pool play game as supposed to shortened or half games. The schedule is being worked on by the team now, and we should have it out shortly. thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow -Daryl Smith-
