Ft Family Park will be under a weather delay until 4:45pm.
Once the rain stops directors will check the fields to make sure they are safe and playable.

North Florida USSSA Baseball wants to thank everyone who participated and came to cheer on their favorite team this weekend here in Jacksonville Florida.
One of the things we do in every one of our tournaments here in Jacksonville is that we give away a brand new Wilson A2000 glove to one lucky player.
Saturday during pool play the opposing coaches nominated an opposing player as the outstanding player of the game. Coaches cannot vote for their own players.
Those names get turned into us on Saturday night and we do a video drawing on our facebook page (North Florida USSSA Baseball).
Go see who the lucky (OPA) was for this weekend.

Coaches/Parents
Games will start on time today in all age groups. Game times will remain at 1:30 time limit. Championship games will be 2:00 time limit.
We are expecting afternoon rain so have your players ready 30-45 minutes before the start of your scheduled game.
If games end early we will start the next game early so be ready to go please.

I your team is scheduled to play the last game today we are expecting rain around 5-5:30.
Should play be delayed we will do our best to prep the fields and resume play as soon as possible.
If lightning does flash you will be asked to leave the playing facility to wait in your vehicles for an update on when it's safe to return.
Our plan is to finish pool play tonight

We have walked both facilities (Ft Family & San Jose) and we are good to go with 8am starts.
In effort to get all pool play games in today game times will be reduced to 1:30 for all age groups.
Schedules have already been adjusted. We have multiple directors on site and will do our best to make sure field conditions are safe.
We ask that all teams be ready to play 30-45 minutes before your scheduled game time.

At different points in time today we had associates out at each complex.
Ringhaver Park has taken on to much water and is now shut down for the weekend. All four fields are completely under water and the rain is supposed to continue through most of the evening. 10uAA & 11uAA are cancelled this weekend and full refunds will be issued.
San Jose Park has mounds and plates covered and we will have maintenance crews out early in the morning to access those conditions. As far as the games starting on time we will know in the morning.
Ft Family Park games will start at 8am in the morning.
Next update will be at 6am Saturday morning.
