SPACE COAST COMPLEX, MELBOURNE, FL – The 11 & under championships move into bracket play as competition continues to ramp up.
SBA Los Rayos National 11u take the top spot going 3-0 averaging 11.33 runs scored per game compared to the 2 runs they allowed per game. As a team, Los Rayos hit .502 with 42 H, 34 R, 30 RBI on 12 extra-base hits. Bryce Causey and Jackson Henson held their own at the plate both hitting .700 with 7 hits apiece. Causey scored 6 R with 1 2B and 3 SB. Henson had 3 2Bs scoring 3 R.
Team Siege secured the #2 spot posting 28 H with 31 R and 22 RBIs and 8 extra-base hits while swiping 27 stolen bases. Darian de la Paz went 3-for-6 with 3 R and 2 RBIs. Andre Manning helped when he could as he hit .857 in pool play. Manning went 6-for-7 scoring 5 runs and driving in 3 on 2 doubles and 1 homerun.
Prime Baseball – Tallo took hold of the #3 spot thanks to some timely offense. Ayden Matthews hit .800 in pool play going 4-for-5 with 2 2Bs and 2 SB. Christopher Lannie toed the rubber and dominated. Lannie threw 4.0 IP allowing 6 H striking out 8 batters.
Arkansas Sticks went 2-1-0 averaging almost 9 runs scored per game in pool play. Fielder Grebert dominated at the plate hitting .833 going 5-for-6 with 5 R and 6 RBI blasting 2 homeruns and stole 7 bases. Grebert looks to take home the MVP as he threw 4.0 IP allowing 1 H striking out 5 posting a 0.00 ERA.
The top 4 seeds will have to wait until Tuesday before they get to play any more baseball.
